Here are some
of the unicorns who currently live with me.
They all seem very happy in the special place
I have created for them in my home and in my heart.

Spirit of romance. How you inspire love
With joy and sheer abandon.
You are a treasure for the heart
And a feast for the eyes.
So majestic in purest white.
Your mane and tail swept with garlands of wildflowers.
Your graceful horn spiraling towards the heavens.
O magic unicorn of love.
You are a vision from far-away dreams come true,
Serene in purest white.
Your flowing mane and tail adorned with pale pink roses.
Your shining horn spiraling towards the sky.
Lyrical and lovely, you are the sweet spirit of love!
Unicorn Glen is
caught in full strideAll decked out
for the maiden to rideHis golden horn
flashes bright in the sunAs he prepares
for their morning run
This
unicorn is really spectacular. In addition
to being outfitted so
beautifully, he's been painted
in very soft colors
and sculpted
with a lot of detail. Especially like
the fact that
he's
not pure white, but a soft muted cream color.
Unicorn Glenn is
also a music box and plays "The Unicorn Song".
A trio of unicorns,
lit softly by the candle's glow
Helping to dispel
the terrors of the night
When I gaze upon
them, in my heart I know
They're here to
protect me -- everything's all right
These delightful unicorns are
displayed around a brick-like
well which contains
a glass candleholder and burns tea lights.
There's an amazing
amount of detail in this piece, especially on the unicorns.
I often use it to provide a warm glow while I'm watching television.
The Pegasus Tristan
is noble and proud His wings outspread
to catch the breeze With one swift
bound he leaps to a cloud Riding the currents
with grace and ease
This
amazing creature is
actually more like an "in-law" of mine.
Purchased him in
2001 as a Christmas present for a very dear friend.
When she opened the
box, she was nearly speechless -- the
beauty of this piece is awesome.
While he doesn't
reside with me,
still feel he's a part of MY family because
I get to visit him
quite often.
A beautiful fairy named Claire
rests on a rocky ledge
with her unicorn companion. They each can see
their reflection in the pool of water below them.
The fountain is even more beautiful than the picture.
Have it displayed on a table in my living room.

This is just a small sample of my collection.
As you can see, I collect unicorns in all
forms and media. If it has a unicorn in it or on it, it's welcome
in my collection. Also have sets of plates by Mimi Jobe and Ruth Sanderson,
a set of coffee mugs,
additional music boxes/water globes,
wine glasses with unicorns etched on them, more thimbles, several
pieces of unicorn
jewelry, bells, Christmas ornaments and other unicorn items, including
several which came all the way from Italy to join my family thanks to
my brother and sister-in-law's trip to Tuscany in 2006.
Have absolutely no idea of the total number of members in my unicorn
family. And, believe it or not, I'm somewhat discriminating
in the items I add to my collection. Don't buy everything I see related to
unicorns. Do have some self-control -- but not much :-) !! Of course, I
haven't had to buy them all myself. Many of the items have
been gifts from family and friends. They are never at a loss as to what to
get me. When all else fails, unicorns are the way to go.
Not wanting to be left out, members of my fairy family asked for
some exposure, too. So below are the members of My Fairy Fae collector
fairies. They are larger than you might think looking at the photos. Greeta and
Elainee are the tallest at over 11" each. All of them feature wings made of a
wonderful gossamer material and real ribbons in colors to match the specific
fairy. Unfortunately, these beauties are no longer being made, so my
collection is as large as it's going to get.
